The establishment of the 3D model of the milling and digging head of lateral rock milling and digging machine is an important step to simulate the dynamic model of milling and digging head. Pro/E mobile software can easily and quickly build complex three-dimensional models. In this paper, Pro/Ewildfirc5.0 is selected as the modeling software. In this software, the 3D model of each part of milling and digging head is established and the whole installation is achieved. Firstly, the three-dimensional models of milling and digging tool, each milling and digging tool block and the milling and digging hub are established respectively. Then, according to the main parameters of the sorting of milling and digging tools and the main parameters of indoor space assembly, the assembly standard coordinates of milling and digging tool and cutter disc are calculated. Then the standard coordinates are guided into Pro/E to establish the assembly standard of milling and digging tool and each milling and digging tool block. Finally, the three-dimensional model of milling and digging knife, milling and digging each cutter seat and milling and digging hub is guided into and installed, and the three-dimensional model of the milling and digging head of the chain hydraulic milling and digging machine is carried out.

The 3D modeling of milling and digging head is complicated and error-prone according to the traditional model method. The standard installation method mentioned in this paper can further improve the efficiency of the model. At the same time, it is very easy to change the model fitting, which can be realized by changing the coordinates of the assembly standard.
