Hydraulic motors also follow the principle of energy conservation during operation. That is, the energy contained in the hydraulic oil injected into the motor should theoretically be equal to the energy output by the motor's output shaft. This principle can be expressed by the formula P_hydraulic_oil = P_output_shaft. Here, the power of the hydraulic oil equals the flow rate multiplied by the pressure, while the power of the output shaft equals the torque multiplied by the angular velocity. Using these formulas, we can easily calculate various parameters of the motor, thus enabling reasonable selection and configuration.
The energy of the injected hydraulic oil should equal the energy of the output shaft, calculated using flow rate, pressure, torque, and angular velocity.
